Synopsis
An exhausted hitch-hiker accepts what seems like a dream ride on a lonely desert road. Taken in for the night by a local peasant, he is keen to repay the hospitality; but the desperate attempts of the traveller to put the family's sick old dog out of its misery results in misery for all concerned.
